The private gardens and parkland were legit amazing for chilling with the squad. We felt like royalty just lounging around. And for all you golf fanatics out there, you'll love the golf course right next to the hotel. Hitting balls and pretending to be pros was so much fun!
The only thing that could've made it more lit was if they had a sick nightclub or party spot. We wanted to let loose and dance the night away, but there wasn't a happening place nearby.

The most positive points I should mention would be the relaxing environment, and the atmosphere of staying in a place full of history. The recently recovered bedrooms have provided a comfortable stay. I should also notice the availability and sympathy of the staff, particularly of Mr. Leandro, who took care of our check-in and stay at the Hotel.
The most negative points are related to the current state of the exterior pool and surroundings, that would need urgent renovation. Also the sports facilities and the birds area would benefit from this.

I love the hotel because of the architecture and decors "Art nouveau", the attention of the service. It is a friendly hotel for kids but without disturbing the adults

This 'dowager' hotel is a true travel experience, with old world charm and a sumptuously large and well-fitted bathroom. The hotel and its surroundings, including the Olympic-sized pool and gardens, all built in Art Deco style, are exceptional. The staff is friendly and professional, and the breakfast is delicious with a great selection of food. The restaurant offers high-quality, affordable meals with complex flavors. The hotel is well-maintained and exudes the ambiance of the 1920s, while still providing modern amenities. The location is ideal, with plenty of wineries nearby and attractions such as Melheada just a few kilometers away.
Felt free to seek any assistance, no complaints at all.

Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nice design. Bathroom a little outdated. It's like stepping back to the roaring Twenties. Only a little less roaring, but for a hotel that is fine.

Excellent hotel in central Portugal. Clearly a trip to the "past" with a perfect sense of the "present". Great room, and views. Very clean, and the staff is the most friendly and helpful i have come across. Would go back in a heart beat.
Exterior pool needs urgent maintenance. The most run down pool i've seen.

I liked the 1920's atmosphere, apart from the rooms everything else seems to be original. rooms were nice and comfortable.
the staff was almost non-existant. had to wait for the bartender. there was nobody available to help with the luggage.

Located in a peaceful area, great for some relaxation during Easter. The breakfast was rich and there were different options. , the outdoor pool was perfect for a swim on a sunny day.
Some parts of the hotel were outdated, including our room. The furniture was quite old and not very comfortable.

Beautiful historical building near a nice park, with beautiful living and dinning rooms. Great Spa. Nice staf. Good food.
The first room didn't have a garden vue, as chosed when booking, but the staf change it the minut we asked for it. Happely, there were rooms available, or our expectations of a nice room to rest and enjoy the vue would have been frustrated. We got a two windows room, facing the gardens. The open air swiming pool, an amazing Modern arquitecture piece, could look better. The trees on the entrance alley should be allowed to grow naturally, as the trees in the Curia's park.
